Ohio Terminal Distributor of Dangerous Drugs
As of June 1, 2017, the state of Ohio requires all Ohio locations that possess controlled substances
obtain licensure as a Category III Terminal Distributor of Dangerous Drugs.
What We Need From You
What is a Terminal Distributor of Dangerous Drugs (TDDD) License?
A TDDD license allows an entity to purchase and possess dangerous drugs
at a specific address for distribution to patients.
NOTE: If you are an independent health care professional authorized to prescribe dangerous drugs who practices as a sole proprietor under
their professional license (not incorporated), you might be exempt from having to apply for and maintain a TDDD License,
however, for exempt status we must have documentation on file establishing your exempt status.
